Employee must be able to design, install, configure, administer, secure, and tune Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, applications, services, and components in an enterprise environment and in a timely and efficient manner. Must be able to respond, identify, and remediate any issues affecting server availability or performance that impact end users.
Employee needs extensive experience with Exchange, VMWare ESX, SQL, and Active directory Services. Working knowledge of SharePoint, IIS, SCCM, ISA, DNS, and general networking is required. Understanding and experience with backup services, business continuity, and replication a significant advantage. Understanding of Information Systems security best practice, and use of security tools and practice a must.
Candidate needs to be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to apply knowledge to complex practical situations. Must be willing to perform maintenance on systems outside of core business hours as required. Business often operates 24/7, and maintenance is performed during off daytime hours. A quick learner, and demonstration of problem solving are critical.
Requirements: BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, BIS, Engineering, or related computer field. Minimum of 3 years experience with Windows servers and an Active Directory environment. Successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as oral and written skills. Industry certifications are advantageous. Must be a US citizen, and capable of obtaining an US security clearance.
