FPGA Programmer
The Energy Dynamics Lab is seeking an FPGA programmer to work on porting computer vision algorithms onto a hardware-software co-design system on a Virtex 6 FPGA, which can be dynamically and partially reconfigured to manage parallelism, power and algorithmic adaptation.
Position requires BS minimum (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Must be skilled in using the following Xilinx CAD tools: ISE, EDK, PlanAhead and Chipscope Pro. Must also have working knowledge of Digital Clock Manager and Microblaze processor. The following are preferred skills: partial reconfiguration design flow, systolic array architectures, Multi-Microblaze (greater than 2) system on chip design. Knowledge in one of the following is also preferred: image processing, video processing and signal processing. Must be able to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
