Program Manager Apply

Energy Dynamics Laboratory is seeking applicants for Program Manager.  A Program Manager is someone who has been delegated corporate responsibility for delivering on contracts by:
•Understanding a customer’s needs and issues – usually by direct interface
•Assembling and directing corporate resources toward execution of the contract
•Trading issues of scope, approach, cost, and schedule
•Delivering the contracted result
He/she shall be willing to work as part of a larger team with engineers, managers, technicians, and instrument developers.  A percent of time will be dedicated to performing business development with existing and new customers.

Requirements:  Bachelors Degree required (technical degree in CS, Engineering, or Science preferred), Masters degree preferred. Minimum 5 years technical program experience in one or more of the following areas:  Conventional and Unconventional fossil fuels, Environmental monitoring, Electric vehicles, Energy efficient buildings, Renewable energy.  

Demonstrated supervisory experience and proficiency in task management required, program management experience preferred.  Person shall have the ability to organize and manage a team of personnel, develop program schedules, and control budgets to meet required deadlines.

Must show evidence of ability to work in a team-oriented mode while making direct contributions to team success.  Must be skilled in verbal and written communications with up-to-date computer skills and be willing to travel.  Skillful ability to present formal review materials to technical customer groups in stand-up oral presentation format.
